For over 25 years we have been helping clients get the most out of the diverse talents and perspectives required to recover entrepreneurial initiative, stimulate invention and discovery, and sustain innovation, especially in companies with established revenue streams.
Clients use our services when they are looking for innovative approaches to special and unique business challenges. As facilitators, we design, organize and guide timely and cost effective approaches. Clients find our skill set especially useful for long-range planning, complex and creative problem solving, technical invention, conflict resolution, and exploratory market research.
Most assignments fall into one or more of our four core practice areas: Front-end Formation, Opportunity Foresight, Strategic Invention, and the Innovation Practitioners Network. Skills in small group facilitation, creative problem solving, family systems and social forecasting combine to form the heart of what Vincent & Associates, Ltd. offers to its clients. These capabilities are applied in the context of clients’ efforts to initiate, develop and advance major innovations in product, process, technology or strategy.
Tangible results of our involvement with clients include proprietary customer insights, “sweet spots” of opportunity, strategic invention disclosures, new product concepts, assumptions about the future external landscape, and future scenarios. Measurable results include sustained growth in profits, decreased project duration time, and decreased project costs. Intangible results include increased cross-functional teamwork, more effective and efficient use of internal and external expertise (e.g., reducing cost per patent), and reduced risk of experimentation.
Assignments range from two to eight months on average and typically come from executives in research and development, marketing, intellectual property, divisional and corporate leadership. Our involvement is normally complete when our client has overcome organizational resistance, secured executive sponsorship and launched the next steps required.
