Joseph P. Batory is a former
superintendent of schools for the Upper Darby School District
(west Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), where he served from 1984-1999.
During this time he established a business support partnership
between the school district and Philadelphia's NBC 10 that
still exists today, and he received the Lifetime Service Award
recognizing his numerous achievements. He started his career
