Jim Armstrong is the founder and creative director of Good for Business in Madison, Wisconsin, which helps companies capitalize on their socially responsible vision, values, mission and core beliefs. Jim believes that business isn’t a brand to be built, but a cause to be believed in. Cause is where true business purpose and passion intersect and where principle and profit work in harmony. Jim is passionate about his work, especially the aspects of how communications can be a catalyst for realizing the truth, social justice and compassion. He is also passionate about his family. He attempts to enjoy just about everything he endeavors, with various “joyful” outcomes. He also loves to write and teach poetry, enjoys biking, hiking, travel and an occasional round of golf. Joseph P. Batory is a former superintendent of schools for the Upper Darby School District (west Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), where he served from 1984-1999. During this time he established a business support partnership between the school district and Philadelphia's NBC 10 that still exists today, and he received the Lifetime Service Award recognizing his numerous achievements.
